Blues Brews N BBQs has grown into an annual summer staple here in Plymouth. For the seventh year, profits from the music fest support our community partners,  Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and PRISM!


In seven years, this community has helped us distribute $121,000 for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and PRISM!


We've hosted 8,800 blues, brews, and bbqs enthusiasts since 2012.


Higher Grounds

Higher Grounds is a yearlong music series at Mount Olivet that features local musicians, and benefits nonprofits in the community. Started in 2001 as an indoor coffeehouse, and expanding in 2012 to include an outdoor music festival, this volunteer led series continues to build community and make a difference through music.

An Outdoor Music Fest

In 2011, volunteer organizers wanted to take advantage of the great outdoor space at Mount Olivet. They put together a plan for a community-wide event featuring outstanding music, local craft breweries, and pit-master BBQ. Encouraged by a successful first year, organizers began planning BBNBBQs as an annual event!

A Benefit for Partners

Since the beginning, BLUES BREWS N BBQs has been a benefit for PRISM and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity -  two community partners bringing people together to create stability for neighbors in need.

In seven years, BBNBBQs has drawn in 8,800 socially conscious, music, beer and BBQ enthusiasts. Thanks to the positive community response, the event has been able to distribute $121,000 - directly sponsoring build sites for Twin Cities Habitat, and supporting the many social services provided by PRISM.

Building Community

This event brings people and organizations together each year, with regular appearances from the Plymouth Fire Department with their fire engine and crew, musicians offering to perform at reduced fees, volunteers and staff from TC Habitat and PRISM coming out to represent their organizations, and numerous in-kind and financial donations from local businesses!

Volunteer Driven

Each year, BBNBBQs is organized by a team of volunteers from Mount Olivet who lead everything from logistics and sponsors to food and vendors. As event day approaches, 100+ volunteers from the Mount Olivet community come out to set up the grounds, serve food and drinks, sell tickets, clean up and more!
